In November, 2004, I entered a clinical trial for a drug in a new class, entry inhibitors. Unlike the just-approved (at the time) Fuzeon, this was to be a simple medication to take, just two pills the size of baby Aspirin first thing in the morning. No mixing, no needles, no refrigeration. No problem then, right? Well, as this was in Phase II, the packaging was SO elaborate just to get to those two pills, a comic strip was in order! |
